Beth Zorc is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of International Bankers. The IIB's mission is to ensure that federal and state banking laws and regulations provide international banks operating in the United
States with the same competitive opportunities as domestic banking organizations. Collectively, the U.S. operations of internationally headquartered banks contribute significantly to the U.S. economy and to the
depth, liquidity and vitality of the U.S. financial markets. Prior to joining the IIB, Beth served as the Senior Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and as Senior Counsel
to the House Financial Services Committee. She also served as Acting General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Beth has held roles in the private sector, including as the Head of Public
Policy at Wells Fargo and, most recently, as Associate General Counsel at Robinhood. She started her legal career with the Financial Services Group at Morrison & Foerster, LLP. Beth holds a J.D. from the Catholic
University of America Columbus School of Law and a BA from Tulane University.
Stephanie Webster is General Counsel of the Institute of International Bankers. Prior to joining the IIB, Stephanie was a Director and Counsel in the General Counsel division of Credit Suisse based in New York. She
was the head of the US Bank Regulatory & ERISA Legal group. Ms. Webster joined Credit Suisse in January 2011. Prior to that, she was an associate at the law firm of Linklaters in the financial regulations group,
advising primarily on U.S. bank regulatory matters, and at the law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP in the financial services group. Ms. Webster began her legal career at the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
LLP as an associate focused on international arbitration. Ms. Webster received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A., with honors, from Brandeis University.
Michelle Meertens is Deputy General Counsel of the Institute of International Bankers. She is a central bank-trained attorney, who worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for more than a decade. At the New York
Fed, Michelle served in several capacities, including as Counsel & Assistant Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Deputy Head of the Financial Infrastructure Department in the Financial Institution Supervision
Group. Michelle also spent several years working internationally at Kapronasia, a fintech consultancy, and domestically as Senior Regulatory Counsel at Mastercard. Michelle holds a JD from New York University’s
School of Law, an MPA in Public & Nonprofit Management & Policy from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a BA from Yale University. She is a life member of the Council
on Foreign Relations and a member of the Economic Club of New York.
Garrett is Director of Communications at the Institute of International Bankers, where he leads development and execution of the Institute’s internal and external communications strategies. Before joining IIB, Garrett
was Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Marathon Strategies and Media Relations Director at the Investment Company Institute. He was also Communications Director for a senior member of the U.S. House
Appropriations Committee. In addition, he worked on a number of political campaigns, including two U.S. Senate races, and at a public affairs firm in Phoenix, AZ. Garrett holds a Masters in Public Administration
and an undergraduate degree in Communications Studies.
Kyle Simpson is the Director of Government Affairs at the Institute of International Bankers, where he leads development and implementation of the Institute’s government affairs strategy. Kyle is a House Financial Services
Committee alum, where he served under both Chairman Patrick McHenry and former Chairman Jeb Hensarling. In addition, he held positions in the U.S. Senate and at the National Credit Union Administration. Kyle also
worked in the management consulting industry at executive search firms Korn Ferry and Egon Zehnder.
Jim is Director of IT and Infrastructure at the Institute of International Bankers (IIB), where he leads all information technology operations. He joined the IIB in 2006, prior to that Jim worked for Align Communications
as a Systems Engineer. While at Align, Jim worked at many of the IIB's member banks on various IT projects including trading floor support, datacenter & trading floor relocations, system migrations and infrastructure
upgrades.

Daniela Dixon is the Events and Sponsorships Manager at the Institute of International Bankers (IIB). Previously, Daniela was the Manager of Content and Programming at the Managed Funds Association (MFA) in
New York City. In this role, Daniela spearheaded content creation, speaker recruitment and event management for up to 10 global conferences annually. Prior to MFA, Daniela served as an Investing Associate at Medley
Capital. She also worked at CohnReznick, LLP where she performed valuation and financial advisory engagements. Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey School of Business.
